Commenting on the innovation, Harshad Jain – Business Head, Radio and Entertainment HT media said, “We have always believed in offering differentiated product to our listeners and BalGopal is an attempt to introduce our culture to the current generation and has been done is a very youthful & contemporary manner. We have seen similar content on TV but this is the 1st time it is being taken on the Radio platform. Packaged with modern sound, simple language and a popular celebrity association, the series is such that everyone, from a grandson to grandfather, will be able to relate to it”.

The Sutra Dhar, SmritiZubinIrani added, “It is wonderful that Fever 104 FM has taken the initiative to narrate the childhood story of Lord Krishna through a convenient yet powerful medium – radio.  Tales of Krishna are popularly associated with boy child, but through this series we wanted to give equal importance & respect to girl child, which I am happy, is reflected through various episodes. Another reason that attaches me closely to the content is the fact of being a mother, which helped me relate to it even more. It has truly been a challenging experience to communicate the emotions and create a real life audio environment for radio listeners. BalGopal is also my 1st radio debut and I am very excited about it”.

BalGopal is a 2 month long series and the 1st episode will go on air on 20th August 2012. The episodes will be aired every weekday Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM. Listeners can tune into Fever 104 FM Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata to hear the content.
