Red FM 93.5 is the most innovative radio channel when it comes to new ideas; once again Red FM initiated a talent hunt in Odisha. It is a first of its kind, initiated by any radio station. 93.5 Seconds to Fame is the first multi talent reality hunt competition done by any radio station. It had Categories like singing, dancing, and comedy, X Factor for 15 plus age group and the auditions were conducted in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Balasore and Cuttak. Participants were given time limit of 93.5 seconds to showcase their talent.

Red FM has always believed in providing a platform where new talent can be showcased. Red FM has done numerous campaigns in the past for the people of odisha have showcased their talent. The objective behind the talent hunt was to make a contribution in promoting talents across the state and give an opportunity to the deserving ones.

From amongst the thousands who made it to the auditions, the Top 60 were selected for the Quarter Finals, which was held in Cuttack. Top 16 were selected for the Semi Final held at Science Park, Bhubaneswar and finally the Top 10 and 2 Wild Card Entries made it to the Grand Finale held on 14th July 2012 in  Bhubaneswar.

The grand finale was a spectacle and was graced by the Guest of honor, the Tourism and Culture Minister of Odisha, Shri Prafulla Samal.

The winner was Mr. Sudip Das (Singer) from Bhubaneswar, 1st runner up Mr. Aakash Das (Dancer) from Berhampur and Ms. Jyoti Botra (Singer) from Bhubaneswar who received a cash prize of  Rs 50000, Rs 30000 and Rs 20000 respectively along with gold rings, silver coins, headphones, Sony PS2 and special prizes from Indian oil and Vodafone. Special attraction was Exclusive Music Contract to Mr. Sudip Das (Winner) and Sandha Choris (5th position holder) from Sarthak Music and Exclusive Television Contract to Mr. Subhrat (4th position holder) and Mr. Aakash Das (1st Runner up) from Sarthak Television.
