MY FM Kota commemorates its 3rd Birthday with a spread happiness drive

94.3 MY FM, India’s noted Radio station celebrated three years of its successful presence in Kota on February 2, 2010. Known for its brand philosophy of ‘Jiyo Dil Se’, the three – year long voyage of MY FM Kota has a lot of commendable initiatives under its name that have achieved noticeable landmarks for the station. MY FM Kota has always celebrated this day with its listeners and this time as well had in store some distinct plans to commemorate this day and spread a feeling of contentment all over the city.

With the objective of involving each and every person in the city, MY FM, through a series of unique initiatives, celebrated the occasion with its listeners. As a part of its three year celebration initiative, MY FM planned three distinctive ways to spread happiness amongst the people of the city. These included – a blood donation camp, a seminar plus health quiz for the senior citizens of Kota and the sponsoring of the yearly milk bill of Palna Grah under its CSR initiative of Ek Koshish Dil Se.

MY FM organized a blood donation camp for the people of Kota with the help of the Kota Blood Bank Society. The camp was spread over three days starting January 31, 2011 and culminated on February 2, 2011. With a blend of on air and on ground promotions, MY FM promoted the same and encouraged more and more people to step forth and participate.

As a part of it’s on air promotions, MY FM invited listeners to join them in this noble cause and sent out on air invites to Government officials and eminent personalities to come forward and aid them in spreading the awareness of the same. Taking this initiative on ground MY FM had OB vans at the camp, throughout the day, sharing live updates with the listeners and encouraging them to step forward and join MY FM. Each and every donor was felicitated with a thanks giving certificate duly signed by MY FM.

Additionally, as an attempt to involve and take the blessings from the senior citizens of the city in its celebrations, the station organized a health seminar plus quiz for them. The seminar revolved around the topic, “Khush rahe dil se jiye aur jaane badhti umar mein acha jeevan kaise bitaye” with a renowned speaker Dr. Usha Mantri, Editor – Dignity Dialogue, Mumbai. Followed by this MY FM RJ’s anchored a health quiz as an initiative to spread knowledge about the importance of keeping in good health and simple ways of staying healthy at any age. MY FM arranged for this seminar along with Varishtha Nagrik Kalyan Clinic – the Senior Citizen Welfare Clinic in Kota to make it huge and encouraged the elderly of the city to come forth and participate in the same.

To top it all, MY FM Kota under its CSR banner Koshish Dil Se sponsored the yearly milk bill of Palna Grah – the orphanage for infants in Karni Nagar Vikas Samiti, Kota. The station requested the Mayor of the city to be a part of this gesture and hand over 12 cheques to the caretaker of the orphanage.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Harrish M. Bhatia, CEO, 94.3 MY FM said, “The people of Kota have showered unconditional love and support on us throughout these three years and now it’s our turn to do something for them. Organizing such initiatives is just another way of thanking them for their heartwarming response all through these years. Such celebrations also prove that the radio industry is moving to the next level which is more than simple music and entertainment.”
