Over 15 experts, influencers and celebrities talk about the power and benefits of yoga
Yoga can add years to your life, and life to your years. Capturing these virtues that the ancient science has on holistic wellness, HT Health Shots celebrated a one-of-a-kind event, #MindBodySoul on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2022 on June 21st.
A digital health and wellness platform for millennial women, HT Health Shots premiered a special online event, featuring over 15 well-known experts, influencers and celebrities. From yoga experts such as Shani Dayal, Himalayan Siddha Akshar, Sunaina Rekhi, Namrata Menon, Ayesha Billimoria and Ira Trivedi to Bollywood’s yoga fans Taapsee Pannu, Rakul Preet Singh, Alaya F and Masaba Gupta – everyone shared valuable insights on the difference that this ancient science can bring to your life.
For Himalayan Siddha Akshar, who is playing an active role in motivating the younger generation towards embracing yoga, “Yoga is understanding and living your life to the fullest!”
Actress Rakul Preet Singh says, “Yoga is more than a workout... It is about connecting with your mind and soul.”
Alaya F, one of Bollywood’s youngest yoga enthusiasts, says, “What I love about yoga is that I always discover new things I never knew my body could do!”
The experts shared tips, tricks and benefits, apart from demonstrating key yoga postures to energize your body, curb travel anxiety, strengthen upper body, nourish hair and skin, and improve mental health. That wasn’t all. Bollywood celebrities shared their favourite yoga poses, and urged youngsters to indulge in this fitness form to bring a sense of calm in the storm of everyday life.
Parallel to the #MindBodySoul event, Health Shots also launched a special Do It Right series, helping people to correct their small but significant errors in doing yoga postures.
